*facepalms* I'm so behind the news half the time.
So apparently Bin Laden was found and shot in the head in Pakistan. After the first shot, he was shot once more to ensure that he was dead. Following this, he body was flown to Afghanistan and identified by his oh-so-large family. Apparently DNA tests were done as well to ensure it was indeed Obama Bin Laden that was finally shot. Finally, after following the Muslim final rites, his body was dumped into the Arabian sea so as to avoid making his grave a shrine for terrorists (this is quite fair).
