*facepalms* I'm so behind the news half the time.
So apparently Bin Laden was found and shot in the head in Pakistan. After the first shot, he was shot once more to ensure that he was dead. Following this, he body was flown to Afghanistan and identified by his oh-so-large family. Apparently DNA tests were done as well to ensure it was indeed Obama Bin Laden that was finally shot. Finally, after following the Muslim final rites, his body was dumped into the Arabian sea so as to avoid making his grave a shrine for terrorists (this is quite fair).
Question: After all these years, is this crazy man really dead? Why does the American government feel the need to shroud everything in mystery? If the man is dead go on and show us pictures of his dead body. The world needs to feel assured that he is indeed gone.
Another thought, following right on tail of that first one, what does the world expect in terms of terrorism now? Terrorist surely feel cheated out of a leader, Bin Laden was probably god like to them. So there will obviously be some form of retaliation.
So while its great if Bin Laden has finally closed his eyes for good, but lets just hope the death toll of innocent lives don't peak as an aftermath.
